Track and Field Releases 2024 Schedule Monday Afternoon

HATTIESBURG, Miss.-- Head coach Jon Stuart has unveiled the 2024 schedule for Southern Miss Track and Field on Monday afternoon.Â
The indoor season commences with the Blazer Invitational in Birmingham, Ala., on Jan. 12, followed by the Vanderbilt Invite in Nashville, Tenn., on Jan. 19-20, and the Houston Invite on Jan. 26-27. After a brief break, the team returns to Nashville for the Music City Challenge on Feb. 9-10, followed by the Sun Belt Indoor Championships in Birmingham on Feb. 19-20. The NCAA Indoor Championships will take place in Boston, Mass., starting on March 8-9.
Moving to the outdoor series, the South Alabama Invitational in Mobile on March 15-16 marks the beginning, followed by the Bulldog Relays hosted by Mississippi State in Starkville on March 22-23. The team returns home to host the Southern Miss Invitational on March 29-30 before heading to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the Crimson Tide Invitational on April 5-6. A week-long break precedes the LSU Alumni Gold meet in Baton Rouge, La., on April 20. The regular season concludes with the Southern Miss Open on April 26-27 at home, followed by the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships hosted by ULM in Monroe, La., from May 9 to May 11. The NCAA East Regionals are scheduled for May 22-25 in Lexington, Ky., with the NCAA Championships set for June 5-8 in Eugene, Ore.
