
Southern Miss Announces M-Club Hall Fame Class of 2022

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss M-Club, the athletic department's letterwinners association, has announced its Hall of Fame Induction Class for 2022.
The class includes Tori Bowie (track and field), Jeremy Bridges (football), Gana Demydova (track and field), Megan Hill (softball), Pauline Love (women's basketball), Kelly McCarty (men's basketball) and Todd McInnis (baseball). During the banquet induction ceremonies, Trey Sutton (baseball), a member of the 2021 class, along with honorary inductee John Thompson, will have their names added to the Golden Eagle elite.
The banquet takes place Friday, Nov. 4, at the Trent Lott Center on the Hattiesburg campus. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Tori Bowie (Track and Field, 2012)
2009 Mideast Student-Athlete All- Region in the long jump...Posted a season-best mark of 19'04.75" in the long jump to place third at the 2009 C-USA Indoor Championships...Ran 24.18 in the 200m at the 2009 Outdoor Championships to finish in first...Placed second at the 2009 C-USA Outdoor Championships in long jump with a 21'8" mark...Competed in the 2009 USA Track and Field Junior Championships for long jump...Advanced to the 2009 NCAA Championships...Posted a PB 7.49 in the 60m her sophomore year...Won the Meyo Invitational 200m...Earned runner-up at the 2010 C-USA Indoor Championships in long jump...Placed third in the long jump at the 2010 Outdoor C-USA Championships...Placed sixth in the long jump at the 2010 NCAA Championships...Placed eighth at the USA Track and Field Championships with a 21'4" jump...C-USA Indoor long jump champion and second-place finisher in triple jump her junior year...Became an NCAA Indoor National Champion with a school-record mark of 21'4.75"...Became an NCAA All-American...Was the C-USA Field Athlete of the Year her junior year...Placed second in long jump and triple jump at the 2011 Conference meet...Became a 2011 NCAA Outdoor National Champion with a school-record 21'9.5" mark...2012 C-USA Indoor Triple Jump Champion...2012 C-USA Outdoor Long Jump Champion...Finished runner-up at the NCAA Championships...Won gold in the 4x100m relay, silver in the 100m and bronze in the 200m at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics...Won gold in the 100m and 4x100m relay at the 2017 World Championships in London.
Jeremy Bridges (Football 1999-2002)
Four-year letterwinner … Conference USA All-Freshman Team in 1999 … Second-Team All-Conference USA Team in 2001 … Member of 1999 Conference USA Championship Team … Played in the 2003 Senior Bowl … Drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles (Round 6m Pick 185) of the 2003 NFL Draft … Spent 10 years in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, and Washington Redskins … Started 55 games and played 110 games in the NFL.
Ganna Demydova (Track & Field 2012)

Recorded a personal and school record jump of 45' 6.50' in winning the C-USA Championship ... Also placed first in the triple jump at the Meyo Invitational ...Competed in the long jump and recorded a mark of 18' 3.25' ... (OUTDOOR): Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors in the triple jump ... Placed third at the NCAA National Championship ... Recorded a personal and school record jump of 45' 7.75' in the triple jump in placing second at the Texas Relays ... Megan Hill (Softball 2007-2010)
A four-year letterwinner and starter … Played and started every game in her career … Named NFCA All-Midwest Region First Team … A four-time all-conference performer that included first team honors as well as second team all-conference accolades three times … Named C-USA All-Freshman Team (2007) … Named Conference USA Newcomer of the Year (2007) … C-USA Player of the Week two times … Tabbed as preseason Conference USA Player of the Year … Also earned all-tournament honors in 2009 … She finished her career as one of the top Lady Eagle softball players in the history of the program … She ranks fourth all-time in batting average (.347) … Ranks first all-time in runs scored (148 – 20 more than 2nd place), 1st in hits (205), 2nd in doubles (one behind the leader), 1st in triples, 1st in home runs 41 (nearest competitor has 33), 1st in runs batted in (2nd place has 118), 1st in total bases (398), 2nd all-time in slugging percentage (.673), 1st in walks (166), 1st in on-base percentage (.494) … In season records, she is fourth highest batting average at .408 … Tied for 3rd all-time in home runs in a season (13) … During her playing time, she led the team in homeruns all four of her seasons … Led the team in batting average, runs scored and hits for three consecutive seasons … She is the only player in Lady Eagle history to hit for the cycle in a game with two doubles, a single, a triple and home run vs. Louisiana Tech (2/24/07) … She is currently the assistant coach at Campbell University.

A three-year letterwinner and starter for the Lady Eagles … A three-time first team All-Conference USA honoree … Named All-Conference USA Preseason Team for two consecutive seasons … A four-time C-USA Player of the Week … Second for most double-doubles in a career with 60 (behind Janice Felder's 64) … Ranks second all-time in rebounding average 11.1 per game … Third all-time in career rebounds with 1,051 … 7th all-time in points scored with 1,576 … One of only three players with to record 1,000 rebounds in two seasons … Tied for 4th all-time in scoring average with 16.6 points per game … Ranks among the career leaders in field goals made and field goals attempted … Ranks first in rebounds in class records as a sophomore and 2nd in points … Ranks first as a senior in rebounds … Led the team in scoring and rebounding all three seasons … A three-time finalist for the Gilliam Trophy that recognizes the top female basketball player in Mississippi … As a senior, she finished 33rd in the nation in scoring while ranking second in rebounding and double-doubles … She is currently an assistant coach at Arkansas.
