Eleven Former Golden Eagles in NFL Training Camps

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – With National Football League training camps opening this week, eleven former Southern Miss players reported to nine different organizations.
Two undrafted free agents from last year's squad, Grayson Gunter and Khalique Washington, are among the former Golden Eagles looking to continue their football career this season.
Gunter, a tight end from Madison, Miss., signed last spring with the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Washington, an offensive lineman from Lebanon, Pa., joined the New Orleans Saints for camp. Joining Gunter in Jaguars camp is wide receiver Tim Jones.
Some familiar faces return to their old teams, including defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches in Tampa Bay, while Mike Thomas holds a spot in Cincinnati and Tarvarius Moore in San Francisco.
Wide receiver Quez Watkins, who caught 43 passes for 647 yards and a touchdown last season, returns to Philadelphia, along with center Cameron Tom, who was signed earlier this week.
DeMichael Harris returns to Indianapolis for his third season at wide receiver, while quarter Nick Mullens joins the Las Vegas Raiders and defensive back Cornell Armstrong will look to make the Atlanta Falcons roster.
