Beach Volleyball Has Successful Day One at Collegiate Beach Clash

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Golden Eagles pairs finish the first day of pool play 16-11, highlighted by Morgan Perry's perfect 3-0 day split with Carmen Sanchez Delgado, Taylor Pierce and Ashlyn Rough.
Overall, Southern Miss sits in third place of the fall tournament, behind tournament leader Tulane's 20-10 record and South Carolina' 17-10 performance.
Six Golden Eagle pairs finished the day with winning records with all nine winning at least one competition.
All pairs have three matches remaining tomorrow.
