Pair of Golden Eagles Named to NFLPA Collegiate Big Board Preseason List

HATTIESBURG, Miss.- Jason Brownlee and Bryce Foxworth were named to the 2021-22 NFLPA Collegiate Big Board Preseason List on Friday. The NFLPA annually invites the nation's top seniors to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl prior to the NFL Draft.
Foxworth, a Pinellas Park, Fla. native, has started in 20 of the 37 games he's appeared in throughout his Golden Eagle career. Foxworth has started 15 games dating back to the 2019 campaign. He helped lead the Golden Eagles to the best passing attack in Conference USA as they averaged 289.5 yards per game in 2019. Foxworth helped pave the way for running back Frank Gore Jr., who was selected to the 2020 Conference USA Second Team and Conference USA All-Freshman Team.
Brownlee, a West Point, Miss. native, recorded 34 receptions for 610 yards in 2020. The East Mississippi Community College product started nine games in 2020. Against Tulane, North Texas, and Liberty, Brownlee exploded for 344 yards and three scores during that stretch – all three were 100-yard receiving games. He added touchdowns against Louisiana Tech and FAU.

This January, the NFL Players Association will produce the 10thannual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl game at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California. Since 2011, the NFLPA Bowl has provided senior NFL prospects with an exceptional platform to showcase their talents to all 32 NFL teams as well as a one-of-a-kind experience that educates participants about the business of football. In the past two years alone, 87 NFLPA Bowl participants have been invited to the NFL Combine and 58 were drafted by NFL clubs.
