Soccer Releases 2021 Schedule

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss Head Soccer Coach Mohammed El-Zare announced the team's 2021 schedule today, July 13.
The Golden Eagles will kick off at home in an exhibition match against William Carey on Saturday, Aug. 7. Southern Miss will remain at home for a second exhibition match against the University of Florida, Thursday, Aug. 12. Finishing exhibition play, the Black and Gold will host Louisiana Monroe on Saturday, Aug. 14.
Aug. 19 will see the Golden Eagles travel to Louisiana State, followed by a consecutive road match at Grambling State, Aug. 22.
Returning home for a single home game, Southern Miss will host Nicholls State on Aug. 26.
Heading to Tuscaloosa, the Black and Gold will face-off against the Crimson Tide on Aug. 30.
Sep. 3 will see the Trojans of Little Rock come to Hattiesburg.
USM will then hit the road for three consecutive away games at Jackson State, Sep. 5, Mississippi State, Sep. 10, and finish the road set by starting conference play at Charlotte, Sep. 16.
The Golden Eagles are set to host Marshall on Sep. 19 followed by an away trip to North Texas, Sep. 24.
Southern Miss then hosts UAB, Oct. 1 and will follow-up by heading south to take on rivals Louisiana Tech, Oct. 8.
Oct. 15 will see USM host the current Conference-USA Champions, Rice Owls.
Next, the Golden Eagles will be away at UTEP, Oct. 22. Then, finishing the regular season, Southern Miss will host UTSA on Oct. 28.
The C-USA Tournament is set to be played Nov. 1 thru Nov. 7.
