HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Golden Eagles broke a 13-game skid in game one of Saturday's doubleheader claiming victory over the Lady Techsters 3-1 at the Southern Miss Softball Complex. The game saw an outstanding pitching debut from utility player Karley Nichols who tossed a complete game in her first ever outing as a pitcher. The Golden Eagles fell to the Lady Techsters in game two, 7-5, concluding Saturday's doubleheader.
