Southern Miss Concludes Indoor Regular Season at Music City Challenge

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – A small contingency of the Southern Miss track and field team will head to the Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt University this weekend at the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility.

While the majority of the team will be resting for the Conference USA Indoor Championship next weekend, 11 Golden Eagles athletes will look to improve on their marks before postseason action.

Trinity Flagler, Patricia Johnson, Kate Mattox, Savannah McMillon, Sarah Parnell and Ashlee Osaji will all compete on the women's side, while DJ Butler, Dylan Evans, Trey Johnson, Corvell Todd and Lance Williams will compete for the men.

The meet is scheduled to begin on Friday with the men's high jump and will conclude on Saturday with the men's 800m run.

Also competing in the meet are Auburn, East Tennessee State, Furman, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, Kentucky, LSU, Louisville, Missouri, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.
