Lindsey Legg Recognized as C-USA Spirit of Service Honoree

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Conference USA announced the 14 student-athletes receiving the C-USA Fall Spirit of Service Award on Wednesday, including Southern Miss volleyball junior defensive specialist Lindsey Legg.
The award honors one student-athlete from each of the league's 14 members with significant community service endeavors, good academic standing and participation in their sport.
The Spirit of Service award is presented three times throughout the season, with Monday's honorees representing men's and women's cross country, football, soccer and volleyball.
Legg, a Fort Walton Beach, Fla. native, volunteered for numerous charitable benefits throughout the fall. She notably spent time volunteering at Southern Miss' Rally for Ida fundraising beach volleyball tournament in October and with Operation Christmas Child in November.
She also maintained a GPA of 4.00 throughout her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern Mississippi, obtaining a bachelor's degree in exercise science. Legg is a multiple-time President's List member and has made the Athletic Department Honor Roll in every semester since 2019. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Kinesiology in exercise science.
