HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss women's basketball is set to open their 2021-22 season in less than a month against the William Carey Crusaders on Nov. 9 at Reed Green Coliseum. Featured this week is junior Domonique Davis, who joins the Lady Eagles after playing two seasons at LSU.
Q: If you could give a message to Southern Miss fans what would it be?
Davis: Come out and support us this season. We can't do it without you.
Q: Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
Davis: I like to listen to music, pray and eat skittles.
Q: If you could trade places with one of your coaches for a game day which would it be?
Davis: Coach McNelis so I can see how it feels on the coaches side to manage the game.
Q: What has been the highlight of your basketball career so far?
Davis: Just playing at the collegiate level. It is still such a surreal feeling.
