Southern Miss Softball Reveals 2021 Schedule

2021 SOUTHERN MISS SOFTBALL SCHEDULE
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss Head Softball Coach Brian Levin has announced the team's schedule for the 2021 season.
The Golden Eagles' 2021 schedule will include 22 home games and 34 road matchups.

"We are excited about the 2021 schedule. The season begins at home with four solid teams coming to Hattiesburg for a tournament. With the conference moving to division only four game series it opened up an opportunity to add more non-conference opponents. We took advantage of that by scheduling Florida State, Auburn, Alabama, LSU and Mississippi State away, and were able to get Ole Miss and Mississippi State at home. We have a solid group of returners and we feel we have a ball club that can play with anyone. We are competing to win a C-USA title and I believe our schedule prepares us to do just that."
A year ago, before the season halting Covid-19 shutdown, the Golden Eagles' 2020 squad was heating up with a record of 14 wins and 8 loses. In 2019, Southern Miss finished the season with an overall record of 30-22, eclipsing the 30-win mark and earning a spot in the C-USA Tournament for the first time since 2016.
Due to Covid-19 policies and procedures the Southern Miss Softball Complex will be limited to 25 percent capacity. Individual game tickets will not be sold this season and attendance will be only permitted to season pass ticket holders.
