Steven Anderson to Represent Southern Miss in C-USA Esports Challenge

DALLAS — Southern Miss redshirt-junior running back Steven Anderson will be one of 14 student-athletes from Conference USA football programs will compete in the first C-USA Esports Challenge starting Monday, the league announced Friday.
One round will be played each week leading up to the championship game. The first round of the single-elimination bracket begins Monday and continues through Friday, May 29. Anderson will face his Rice opponent, redshirt-sophomore linebacker Kebreyun Page, at a date TBD.
The tournament features one representative from each institution. Players are seeded based on their team's finish in the 2019 C-USA football standings. The student-athlete representatives are as follows:

Jamal Gates, FIU
BJ Etienne, Florida Atlantic
Israel Tucker, Louisiana Tech
Isaiah Green, Marshall
Zack Dobson, Middle Tennessee
