Southern Miss Announces Parking Areas for Athletic Events This Saturday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – With both Southern Miss men's basketball and baseball playing on campus this Saturday, the Department of Athletics announced today its parking plan to accommodate both events on Feb. 15.
The following are the lot listings and what will be available for Saturday's action:
M.K. Turk Circle/Kay Kames Drive Parking Lot (Reserved for Basketball) – 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Fans with a M.K. Turk Circle Basketball pass can park in this lot starting at 11a.m. They may stay in that spot for the baseball games as well.
- Fans attending only the baseball game can begin parking in this lot at 2:30 p.m.
Pete Taylor Park Parking Lot (Reserved for Basketball and Baseball) – 11 a.m. until End of Day
- Fans with a Basketball season and Baseball season parking pass can park in this lot starting at 11 a.m.
- We ask those fans that only have Basketball season parking passes to move their vehicles once the basketball game ends, to make room for those fans with Baseball season passes. Starting at 2:30 p.m., only fans with Pete Taylor Park parking lot passes will be allowed in that lot.
Sports Field Parking Lot on 4th Street (Reserved for Baseball) – 11 a.m. until End of Day
- Fans with a Baseball season parking pass can access this lot starting at 11 a.m.
Volleyball Facility Parking Lot (Reserved for Baseball) – 11 a.m. until End of Day
- Fans with a Baseball season parking pass can access this lot starting at 11 a.m.
All other parking lots are open parking
The Department of Athletics also reminds fans heading to campus on Saturday of the Mardi Gras parade taking place starting at 11 a.m., and to plan accordingly when traveling to campus.
