Southern Miss TF Welcomes 2019 Signees

Head Coach Jon Stuart boasts a full signing class for the Golden Eagles.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Jon Stuart and the Southern Miss Track and Field and Cross Country programs welcome 26 new members to the ranks for the 2019-20 academic year.

"I'm really excited about our newest Golden Eagles. This is one of our larger recruiting classes we've had and it covers all event areas. They will help us to continue the success we've enjoyed in the past five years."
The Golden Eagles added seven transfers and 19 true freshmen to the roster for the upcoming season. There are seven throwers, six distance/mid-distance runners, six sprinters, one true hurdler, one true jumper, two sprinter/hurdlers, and three sprinter/jumpers. The team welcomes 16 to the men's side and 10 to the women's side.
Ten of the newcomers are Mississippians, with one coming from Hattiesburg. The rest of the roster is made up of three Alabamians, one Arizonian, one Floridian, one Georgian, one Illinoisan, five Louisianans, one Nebraskan, one Texan, one Argentinian, and one Australian.
