"Campers can expect to be put through the same workout that a Golden Eagle softball player would go through. You will receive professional instruction from the Southern Miss staff and student-athletes. This camp is a win-win. You get the benefit of growing your skills and showing your ability while Southern Miss gets the benefit of identifying future Southern Miss student-athletes."
Â
The camp will be open to the first 72 kids between grades 7th-12th that register. The camp will begin at 8:00 a.m. (CT) and it will end at 4:00 p.m. (CT). The cost to attend the camp is $200. Lunch will not be provided.
Â
Southern Miss head softball coach Brian Levin, assistant coach Mark Mulvany, assistant coach Devin Lowe, graduate assistant Izzy Werdann, and several current members of the Southern Miss softball team will be the instructors for the 2019 ID Camp.
Â
During the morning session of the camp, campers will be broken down into position groups where they will receive defensive position specific instruction. Campers will also receive offensive instruction during the morning session.
Â
