Football Enjoys Afternoon of Bowling for Fall Camp Break

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- On yet another scorching day under the southern sun, the Southern Miss football team held a morning practice before heading to the Hub Lanes bowling alley for an afternoon of team-building.
The 110-man roster, as well as coaching staff, took up the entire building, while some chose to venture over to the arcade for pool and air hockey. The team also enjoyed pizza and Powerade to keep the energy up for Saturday's closed scrimmage.
Coaches and players took part on each other's teams, and while many of their scores left much to be desired, the Golden Eagles found chemistry and bonding in ways beyond the turf.
Southern Miss will kick off the 2019 slate on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. versus Alcorn State. Single-game and season tickets are on sale via SouthernMissTickets.com, calling 1-800-844-TICK, or visiting the Pat Ferlise Center during normal business hours.
