Women of Southern Miss T&F Shine Academically

All-American announcements and one student-athlete earned a prestigious scholarship.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The women of Southern Miss track and field continue to shine in the academic arena, as the women's team was named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, Rian Robinson was named an All-Academic Individual, and Keiyana Gaskin earned a prestigious accounting scholarship.
The women as a collective unit finished with a 3.09 GPA, earning themselves the title of a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Title. They have earned this accolade each year of head coach Jon Stuart's tenure, as well as several years prior.
Rian Robinson, a liberal studies major, earned the All-Academic Individual accolade for her academic success. To qualify for All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have compiled a GPA of 3.25 and have finished the regular indoor season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 in a relay event, or have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships for outdoor (including preliminary rounds).
