The Golden Eagles’ 2019 schedule consists of 8 home matches and 12 road matches.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's soccer team has finalized its schedule for the 2019 season. The Golden Eagles' 2019 schedule will include 8 home matches and 12 road matches.
Coming off of a historic 2018 campaign in which the team posted a school-record 13 wins and 11 shutouts and also finished as the C-USA Runner Up, the Golden Eagles will look to continue to build on their success as they begin the 2019 season.

"We designed our schedule to challenge our young team. They have been showing readiness to compete against top tier opponents and we are looking forward to developing and preparing for what lies in front of us in Conference USA. We feel that playing these level of opponents gives us opportunities to challenge ourselves and grow as both individuals and as a program."
Southern Miss' non-conference schedule will include four SEC opponents, two Sun Belt Conference opponents, two SWAC opponents, one Southland Conference opponent and one Ohio Valley Conference opponent.
August
Southern Miss will kick off the 2019 season with a six-match road stretch. The Golden Eagles will take on LSU (Friday, August 9) and Mississippi State (Saturday, August 17) in exhibition matches. The Golden Eagles' first regulation match of the 2019 season will take place against Missouri (Thursday, August 22). Southern Miss will continue its road trip in the state of Missouri when they face Southeast Missouri (Sunday, August 25). The Golden Eagles will conclude the month of August by squaring off against Lamar (Thursday, August 29).
September
Southern Miss will begin the month of September by wrapping up its six-match road stint when they battle Louisiana-Monroe (Sunday, September 1). The Golden Eagles will play their first home match of the 2019 season when they host South Alabama (Thursday, September 5). After playing host to South Alabama, Southern Miss will remain at home to take on Mississippi Valley State (Sunday, September 8).
The Golden Eagles will then hit the road again and travel to Auburn, Ala. to face Auburn (Friday, September 13), before returning home to battle Jackson State in their last home match during the month of September. Southern Miss will wrap up the month of September with a pair of road matches against C-USA opponents Western Kentucky (Saturday, September 21) and North Texas (Thursday, September 26).
October
The Golden Eagles will open the month of October in the midst of conference play, hosting Florida International (Friday, October 4) and Florida Atlantic (Sunday, October 6). Southern Miss will embark on its last road stretch of the season with a match against (Friday, October 11) followed by matches against UTSA (Thursday, October 17) and UTEP (Sunday, October 20).
The Golden Eagles will return home to Hattiesburg to square off against Middle Tennessee (Friday, October 25) and UAB (Sunday, October 27) to end the month of October.
November
Southern Miss will host Louisiana Tech (Friday, November 1) in what will be its last match of the regular season.
Postseason
The 2019 C-USA Tournament is scheduled to take place in Denton, Texas (Wednesday, November 6-Sunday, November 10) and it will be hosted by North Texas.
