HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss head coach Stephanie Radecki has announced that Jennifer McCall has been promoted to an associate head coach role.
"The most important quality of a coaching staff member is loyalty," Radecki said. "Loyalty to the expectations, mission, and standard established by the head coach and athletic administration. Jenn has not only demonstrated this loyalty but has great knowledge and innovative vision for our volleyball programs. She has a passion for the success of our athletes and I am honored to work with her daily. Coach McCall's promotion to Associate Head Coach is long overdue."
McCall has a wealth of experience in the game, beginning with her standout playing career at Florida State, where she was a three-time team captain and started on the 1992 ACC Co-Championship team. She also served as the UNC Wilmington head coach from 2004-08.
This past year's squad collected its sixth-straight winning season, including a five-set defeat of No. 2 WKU in the C-USA Quarterfinals.
