Lady Eagles Announce the Signing of Criste'On Waters

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Joye Lee-McNelis and the Lady Eagle Basketball program have announced the signing of Criste'On Waters to the team.
Criste'On, or Criss, a 6'1" forward from Evansville, Ill., will join the Lady Eagles from Butler Community College.

"We are so excited to have Criss be a part of our Lady Eagle family. She brings experience in winning at every level to our program. She has been a winner in high school, club ball and led her junior college to the National Junior College Tournament. Criss hates to lose and will go the extra mile to win games. She is a winner. As a person, she brings leadership and college experience to help make a difference in Lady Eagle Basketball. Criss is expected to help elevate play in the post and give us the depth needed for us to be successful."
Waters graduated Evansville High School and attended SIU Edwardsville before transferring to Butler Community College in Kansas. The incoming junior has six siblings. She is a swing/small forward who is a solid competitor. She averages 11 points per game, shot 44 percent from the field and 30 percent from behind the arc. She also averaged 7.2 rebounds per game.
