Joye Lee-McNelis Basketball Camps Set for 2019

The Lady Eagles Head Coach hosts summer basketball camps again.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Joye Lee-McNelis, the Lady Eagles tenured head coach, is hosting summer basketball camps again in 2019.
The basketball camps will be held at Reed Green Coliseum on the campus of Southern Miss throughout the month of June, as well as one camp in August. There are different camps for different ages and skill levels, and many are open to both girls and boys.
The camp options include Fundamental Shooting Stars Camp for ages 4-11, Developmental Skills Academy for girls ages 12 and up, Post Skills Enhancement Academy for rising ninth graders and up, Next Level Skills Academy I and II for high school junior varsity, varsity and club players, a Middle School Team Shootout for junior high, middle school and club teams, and finally, a High School Team Shootout for junior varsity, varsity or club teams.

Coach McNelis has had success at her alma mater, now in her 15thyear of coaching the Lady Eagles. She has two former players competing at a higher level, is a Southern Miss Hall of Famer, the 2017 WBB Women's Coach of the Year, and has taken her team to the WNIT seven times and the NCAA tournament four times.
