Caleb Parker Tabbed Male Track Athlete of the Week

Conference USA announced the accolade on Tuesday afternoon.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss' Caleb Parker was named Male Track Athlete of the Week by Conference USA on Tuesday afternoon after his stellar performance at the Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt.
Parker, a junior from Houston, Texas, broke his own school record on the second day of the Music City Challenge in the 60m Hurdles, improving his time to 7.73. He placed first in the event, and his time ranks at No. 8 in the nation and No. 1 in C-USA.
The Golden Eagles are off to the Conference USA Indoor Championship for the next meet, which is being held by UAB in Birmingham, Alabama.
