Basketball Golden Eagle Hotline Returns Monday from Walk-On's

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Golden Eagle Hotline, featuring Southern Miss basketball coaches Jay Ladner and Joye Lee-McNelis, returns Monday from Walk-On's (4400 Hardy St.).
This will be the last installment until Jan. 6 and then each subsequent Monday through the rest of the season. Ladner will discuss the men's team from 12 to 12:30 with host John Cox, while McNelis will take the next 30 minutes to talk Lady Eagle hoops. Each week's show will be broadcast later in the day from 7-8 p.m., on one of the affiliates of the Southern Miss Sports Network from Learfield IMG College, including flagship station, WXRR-FM, Rock 104 in Hattiesburg/Laurel.
Fans at the restaurant can ask questions during the show via a microphone that will be available to the audience, while fans can send their questions in prior to the show's start time by either Twitter (@USMGoldenEagles), Facebook (Southern Miss Athletics) or email (southernmissathletics@gmail.com).
Both teams are off for the week due to finals, but the men's team hosts North Florida on Saturday while the women have South Alabama on Sunday. Both are 2 p.m. tip-offs.
