Dominic Magee Signs Pro Contract in Luxembourg

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Former two-year Southern Miss men's basketball standout Dominic Magee has inked a deal with the Kordall Steelers of Luxembourg.
Magee was an integral part of the 2017-19 seasons, averaging 9.7 points and 5.6 rebounds as the Golden Eagles won 36 games and reached the C-USA semifinals each year. He posted a season-high 19 points on Senior Day against UTSA, including going 4-for-7 from long-range as the squad clinched a first-round bye. He also averaged 19.5 points over his first two C-USA games as a junior, and his career-high was a 27-point effort in a home win over Troy that season.
Magee, a native of Harvey, La., is the third Golden Eagle from the 2019 senior class to sign a pro deal. Cortez Edwards is currently with the Worcester Wolves of the British Basketball League, while Tyree Griffin agreed to terms with the BK Ventspils of the Latvian Basketball League.
Southern Miss' next game is Wednesday versus Gonzaga in the Battle 4 Atlantis. Tip-off from the Bahamas is set for 6 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
