Southern Miss Softball Set to Host Multiple Preseason Events

The Southern Miss softball team will host a Meet the Team Dinner on February 1, followed by Fan Day on February 2.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss softball team has announced their plans to host multiple preseason events before the 2019 season opener on Friday, February 8 against Houston Baptist.

The Golden Eagles will begin the preseason festivities with the Meet the Team Dinner on Friday, February 1. The event will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church (3117 W. 4th Street) in Hattiesburg at 6:30 p.m. (CT). Fans will have the opportunity to meet members of the 2019 Southern Miss softball team as well as the coaching staff.

The cost to attend the event is $25 per person and it is limited to the first 150 registrants. If you would like to attend the Meet the Team Dinner, please RSVP by contacting Southern Miss Softball Graduate Assistant Kristen Gardner via phone (228) 217-9761 or via email kristen.gardner@usm.edu.

The Southern Miss softball team will follow up their Meet the Team Dinner with their annual Softball Fan Day, which will be held on Saturday, February 2 at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.

*Youth Clinic participants must be in grades K-6th*Â
Youth Clinic participants may their own equipment for the clinic (glove, bat, cleats, etc.) but it is not required.Â
Tickets for the 2019 home softball season can be purchased by going online at SouthernMissTickets.com, by calling the ticket office at 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or by visiting the Pat Ferlise Center weekdays from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
