Pair of Super Bowl Champions Expected at The Rock this Saturday for ULM Football Game

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- A pair of Super Bowl Champions are coming to The Rock - Southern Miss alumnus Brett Favre as well as ULM alumnus and Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson - when the Golden Eagles and the WarHawks meet on the gridiron this Saturday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. The former teammates will serve as honorary captains for their respective teams and Southern Miss wants fans to be part of the experience.
As part of this get together, Southern Miss will play to the Golden Ticket Scavenger Hunt in conjunction with game. Fans will have the opportunity to win a Southern Miss prize pack and the chance to come down to the field pre-game for a photo with both stars.Â

There will be a number of golden tickets that fans will have to find. Some tickets will be hidden around the Hattiesburg area the week leading up to the game, while the remaining golden tickets will be hidden inside the stadium for fans to find from when gates open an hour and a half before kickoff, until 15 minutes before kickoff.
Throughout the week, Southern Miss Athletics will be releasing clues as to where to find the golden tickets through their social media channels as well as at www.southernmiss.com/goldenticket.
Favre, a former Golden Eagle from 1987-90, played 20 seasons in the NFL for four different teams, including 16 with the Green Bay Packers. His stellar professional career earned him a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Favre retired as the NFL's all-time leading passer with 6,300 completions, 10,169 attempts, 71,838 yards, 508 TDs.Â
Pederson, who was a teammate of Favre from 1996-98, and again from 2000-04 in Green Bay, has been the coach of the Eagles for the last two seasons, compiling a 20-12 record, including a Super Bowl LII championship this past February.
Fans can purchase tickets for Saturday's game by going online at SouthernMissTickets.com, by calling 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or by visiting the Pat Ferlise Ticket Office, weekdays, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

CONTEST RULESÂ
- All participants must have a single game or season ticket to Southern Miss vs. ULM on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Â
- For the three golden tickets prior to game day, winner must show their game ticket for Saturday. Ticket cannot be purchased after finding the golden ticket.
- All golden tickets must be presented to the NW corner field gate, outside Gate 1, prior to 5:45 p.m. to take part in the contest. Any tickets presented after 5:45 p.m. are null and void.
- Employees of the University of Southern Miss, Southern Miss Athletics, Game Day staff, security, or concession employees or their family members are not eligible to win.
- Southern Miss Athletics reserves the right to exclude anyone with a golden ticket if it was determined that the ticket was obtained unfairly or the winner presents a safety concern.
