Southern Miss Announces Fall Softball Schedule

The fall schedule will feature five home contests and one neutral site contest
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss has announced their 2018 fall softball schedule which will feature five home contests and one neutral site contest.
The Golden Eagles will open their fall season with their lone neutral site game against in-state Division II foe Mississippi College at Shiloh Park in Brandon, Miss. on Saturday, October 6 at 3:00 p.m.
Southern Miss will host local MACJC opponents Pearl River Community College and Jones County Junior College, reining NJCAA Division II National Champions in a doubleheader on Tuesday, October 9 at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The second doubleheader of the Golden Eagles' fall season will take place on Friday, October 19 when Southern Miss plays host to ACCC opponent Coastal Alabama Community College at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Another MACJC squad will make the trip to Hattiesburg to face the Golden Eagles on Friday, October 26. Southern Miss will take on East Central Community College at 6:00 p.m.
Southern Miss will wrap up their fall season in Hattiesburg against in-state SEC rival Ole Miss on Saturday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. Southern Miss defeated then ranked #18 Ole Miss by a final score of 5-2 during a regular season matchup on March 4 in Oxford, Miss.
All fall home games will be played at the Southern Miss Softball Complex in Hattiesburg, Miss. Admission to all home fall games is free.
