Men's Tennis Hold Senior Day Wednesday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss Men's Tennis host Nicholls State tomorrow at 2 p.m., for Senior Day.
Four members of the men's tennis program will be recognized before Tuesday's match beginning at 1:45 p.m.
Senior Wen-Po Tseng who holds the Southern Miss record for longest win streak (14 matches), ends his four years with the Golden Eagles at home with an undefeated senior record. Tseng posts a 14-0 record heading into his last home match. Tseng was also recognized as the Conference USA player of the week last week after sweeping three singles matches against C-USA opponents.
Mikhail Esipov will also be recognized tomorrow after four years in the black and gold. Esipov holds an 8-2 singles record this season. Esipov had a dominating fall season winning the CCB Collegiate Invitational.
Daniel Merker heads into Senior Day with a two-match win streak and four singles wins on the year. Merker and doubles partner Jorman Reyes have tallied eight doubles wins at No. 1.
Team manager Grigory Trotsenko will also be recognized on senior day. In 2015, Trotsenko secured five singes wins and three doubles wins. Two of his doubles wins were paired with fellow senior, Merker.
The three seniors this season have combined for a total of 26 singles wins.
