HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss Head Softball Coach Wendy Hogue announced the schedule for the 2019 season on Thursday.
Â
Southern Miss Head Softball Coach Wendy Hogue on the Golden Eagles' 2019 schedule
"I am very excited about the spring schedule. We have made a conscious attempt to have consistency in our scheduling over the last few years, and with that comes rivalries. McNeese State, Nicholls, and South Alabama are great programs that we go to battle against each year. Alabama and Ole Miss are two SEC constants on our schedule and we are looking forward to playing them both again this spring. This will be our third year in a row to play Jacksonville State in a preseason three-game series and we expect it to be competitive. One of the new locations on the schedule this year is Waco, Texas. Baylor participated in our tournament last year and we're really excited about going to their place in February."
