Weather Forces Softball to Push Back C-USA Series

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Due to inclement weather the C-USA three-game series with Western Kentucky has been pushed back a day. The original dates of the contest were, April 22 and 23 and now the teams will meet April 23 and 24.

Sunday’s doubleheader will be played at 1 pm and 3 pm and Monday’s single game will start at 1 pm.

Southern Miss enters the contest 24-23 and 7-11 in conference. Western Kentucky comes in with a 24-23 overall record, 8-10 in conference. The Golden Eagles are 11-9 on the road with the Hilltoppers holding a 12-10 record at home.
