Golden Eagles Hit the Road for FSU Relays

HATTIESBURG, Miss -- The Southern Miss men's and women's outdoor track and field 2017 teams travel to Tallahassee, Fla. for the 38th Annual Florida State Relays this weekend.
The all-day meet will get started with events Friday, March 24 at 8 a.m. (CT) with the men's hammer throw at Mike Long Track.
"This is going to be a great opportunity to get some good marks," said head coach Jon Stuart. "The weather is going to be great and we'll have many parents and family members in attendance."
The Golden Eagles are competing in their first scored meet of the season when they take on Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Liberty, and Florida State.
"We're going to be facing some of the best competition in the country, so it's time to bring our 'A' game," added Stuart.
