Women's Tennis Host West Alabama

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's tennis team is set to host West Alabama, Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Southern Miss Tennis Facility.
The Golden Eagles (4-3) are coming off a 4-0 win against Southern at home last weekend recording their fourth win of the season. The team remains perfect at home going into Thursday's match.
Carolin Drescher and Alex Kitchen lead the team with five doubles wins at No. 1 and have recorded four and five respective wins in singles play. The Golden Eagles doubles pair are set to face Amina Mukhametshina and Georgina Morral Thursday.
The UWA Tigers extended their win streak to five matches after their 8-1 victory against Alabama Huntsville on Monday. The Tigers swept all six singles matches in straight sets and improve to 5-1 this season.
Thursday's match will be the first time the two teams face off against each other.
