HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Senior Southern Miss quarterback Nick Mullens has etched himself in Golden Eagle glory for how he has represented himself on and off the field. Seven 2016 watch lists later, he has helped lead his team to a 3-1 record and hopes to do more Saturday at 6 p.m. versus Rice.
Here is where the Hoover, Ala., native ranks among active NCAA FBS quarterbacks:
No. 2 in touchdown passes, completions, attempts and yards
No. 3 in total offense
No. 5 in passing yards per attempt and total plays
No. 7 in passes per game
No. 8 in passing yards per game
He now has thrown a touchdown pass in each of his last 20 games and has thrown at least three TD passes in 11 games in his career, including at least four TD passes in five different games last season.
