Southern Miss Softball Releases Fall Season Schedule

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss softball team will play seven home games and a neutral site game for its 2016 fall season. The games begin on Friday, September 23, and runs through Friday, October 21. All home games are free and open to the public and will be played at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.
The Golden Eagles open their fall season, Friday, Sept. 23, at 5 p.m. in a 10-inning game against Pearl River Community College.
The fall season continues on Saturday, Oct. 8, as they travel to Shiloh Park in Brandon, Mississippi when they take on in state SEC opponent Ole Miss at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased prior to the game by calling Brandon Parks and Rec at 601.825.3047. On Friday, Oct. 14, the Golden Eagles will square off against 2015 NJCAA National Runner Up East Central CC at 5 p.m. and conclude the day against the 2016 NJCAA National Runner Up Jones County JC at 7:30 p.m.
Crosstown foe William Carey is next, Friday, Oct. 20 in a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m.
The Golden Eagles conclude the fall schedule with a doubleheader against Northwest Florida State College starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21.
