Softball at Mississippi Valley State Canceled

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss softball game at Mississippi Valley State in Itta Bena, Miss. scheduled for Wednesday, May 4 has been canceled. The game will not be made up.
The Golden Eagles return to action this weekend as the Black and Gold welcome UTEP to Hattiesburg for Senior Weekend. Southern Miss will honor its four seniors -- Katie Cleary, Sarah Evans, Morgan McKeever, and Michelle Stringer -- during the weekend.
The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a single game on Sunday slated for 12:00 p.m.
