Report: The Southern Miss Women’s basketball team was back in action this morning after having Sunday off. The team was joined after practice by former head coach Kay James as a part of the team’s Motivation Monday program.
James coached the Lady Eagles for more than two decades and led the team to 10 postseason appearances. She also won coach of the year four times while at Southern Miss. James was inducted into the Golden Eagle Legends Club during the 2002-2003 season.
