Mullens' Milestones Keep Multiplying

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss quarterback Nick Mullens has geared the Golden Eagles to fantastic offensive success throughout his career. We took a look at what the senior from Hoover, Ala., is looking to accomplish in the coming weeks.
-Mullens is well within striking distance of Austin Davis in two career records, needing 296 yards to catch his 10,892 and a 33rd 200-yard passing game that would make him the Golden Eagles' all-time best in that category.
-He is also currently No. 7 nationally in both passing yards and touchdowns.
-Mullens in 2015 at Marshall threw for 314 yards and a touchdown, and the Golden Eagles host the Thundering Herd on Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. for HOMECOMING.
Southern Miss on Saturday makes a short trip west to Baton Rouge, where it will take on LSU at 6:30 p.m. on the SEC Network. It will be the first matchup between the teams since the Golden Eagles won 20-18 there in 1994.
