Men's Tennis Set to Host A Pair of Matches

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss men's tennis team will continue their homestand, playing host to George Washington on Saturday at 10 a.m. and then Lamar on Sunday at 10 .am.
For Saturday's match, the first 50 fans in attendance will receive a Southern Miss Lanyard. For Sunday's match, the first 25 fans in attendance will receive Southern Miss Sunglasses.
The Golden Eagles bring a 3-0 record into the weekend. Six Eagles own an undefeated record. The team is led by a senior Tarun Surat who plays in the No. 1 slot. Junior Wen-Po Tseng is 2-0 as is sophomore Daniel Merker and freshman Jorman Reyes.
In last week's action, Southern Miss defeated Florida A&M, Jacksonville State and Alcorn State to start the season. The Golden Eagles claimed a 4-2 victory over the Rattlers, then followed up with a win 4-0 win over Jacksonville State before concluding with a 5-0 win against Alcorn State.
Following this weekend's action, Southern Miss travels to South Alabama for a 10 a.m. match against the Jaguars and then a 2 p.m. match against Alabama State.
