Men's and Women's Tennis Teams Open Home Schedule

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss men's and women's tennis team open their respective home schedules this weekend when the teams host Alcorn State, Florida A&M, Jackson State, Jacksonville State and William Carey at the USM Tennis Courts and the Tatum Tennis Courts.
The men's team is coming off a solid fall season. Third year Head Coach Zubin Engineer returns six letterwinners from last year's team that finished 15-9. Engineer also welcomes two newcomers to the squad.
Heading into his fourth season, Head Coach Dominic Modise returns four letterwinners from last year and welcomes three newcomers to this year's squad. The Golden Eagles just finished competition in the FGCU Spring Invite last weekend and posted 13 singles' wins and four doubles' wins. The team turned in a strong fall season.
