Southern Miss Game Day App for 2015 Now Available

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Game Day App, which continues to be one of most interactive of its kind in the country, is packed with several new and exciting features for the upcoming Southern Miss athletics season.
Last year, Southern Miss Athletics joined forces with IMG and SportsLabs to develop the Southern Miss Game Day App to help keep Golden Eagle fans connected to the action while at the game or watching from home. The social-centric mobile application that enhances the already dynamic experience at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at Roberts Stadium returns for its second season.
The Southern Miss Game Day App is packed with robust social, on-campus and stadium features that enhance the game day experience by delivering:
* Free live game audio
* Updated Social Stream that includes Instagram and Twitter feeds from the team and fans
* The official game-day guide with key times, events and need-to-know information including stadium maps and parking to plan the day and includes Google Maps Updates with traffic support and map filters
*Enhanced location-aware maps for fans attending both home and away games
* Live Conference USA and Top 25 scores and real-time stats
* Opt-in alerts for weather updates, pregame events, play-by-play information and more
Some of the new features available for this upcoming year include:
* Animated Welcome Screen
* Rosters and News features
* In-game stats available within the Gamecenter
* Ability to purchase Southern Miss Tickets
* Upgrades as part of the new Golden Eagle Experiences located within the "More" tab at the bottom, including the ability for fans to purchase experiences such as the Opportunity to Walk in Eagle Walk, Shoot the T-shirt Gun during a game or even have Seymour and Golden Eagle cheerleaders visit your tailgate
This game day companion for Southern Miss Athletics will not only be used for football, but for men's and women's basketball as well, along with baseball.
