Soccer to Hold Open Tryout Wednesday, Aug. 19

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss soccer team will hold open tryouts on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 4 p.m. at the Southern Miss Soccer Complex.
In order for to participate, all students must be currently enrolled for the 2015-16 academic year with at least 12 semester hours and have completed the necessary paperwork required for tryouts. All paper work must be completed and taken to the soccer office by Monday, Aug. 17. Below is a list of paperwork needed for the tryout.
1) EVERY STUDENT needs to have a sickle cell test done prior to trying out. This test takes two days to get the results so they need to take that into account.
2) Students need to fill out the "NEW ATHLETE FORM" and TAKE THAT TO THE TRAINING ROOM IN THE ATHLETIC CENTER AND AFTER THEY DO THAT ONE OF THE TRAINERS WILL SEND THEM TO THE CLINIC. Links for the forms are listed above.
What to bring:
A completed NEW ATHLETE FORM
A copy of a physical dated within the last year
Sickle Cell Test (takes two days to get results)
Proof of insurance
Copy of your fall class schedule
