Eagle Fanfare Set for Saturday, Aug. 15

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -
The South Central Mississippi Chapter of the Southern Miss Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Department of Athletics, will host its 20th Annual Eagle Fanfare on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 2 p.m. The event will take place at the Lake Terrace Convention Center located at 1 Convention Center Plaza in Hattiesburg.
The entire football program, as well as the volleyball and women's soccer teams, will all be on hand to meet fans to kick off the 2015 season. In addition, fans can get a picture made with Seymour and bid on live auction items that include tickets to the President's Suite for a football game and a Brian Dozier signed batting helmet. The party will also feature children's face painting with the Southern Miss cheerleaders, photo booth and a silent auction. All proceeds support the chapter's scholarship endowment for local students attending Southern Miss.
Tickets are $5 per person or $20 per family and children ages 6 and under are free. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
