Soccer Adds Additional Signee

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss soccer head coach Mohammed El-Zare announced the addition of transfer Rikke Randrup to his 2015 roster. Randrup joins the Golden Eagles after spending two seasons at Northern Oklahoma University.
"We are extremely excited to have Rikke at Southern Miss," El-Zare said. "She will bring a level of maturity and experience needed to our young locker room. We look forward for her screening ability and soccer insight, adding creative dimension to our offense."
As a sophomore, Randrup helped lead the Mavericks to the 2014 Region 2 Championship. She was named First Team All-Region, as well as Second Team All-American as a sophomore. Randrup led Northern Oklahoma College to a 19-3-1 record in 2014, scoring 15 goals with 16 assists for 46 total points.
Randrup played center forward, holding middle, attacking middle and wing for the Mavericks as a true freshman in 2013. She was named First Team All-Region, scoring 10 goals with five assists for 25 total points as a rookie.
A native of Ringsted, Denmark, Randrup attended Broendby Gymnasium in Broenndby, Denmark. She played club soccer with Odense Boldklub and Broendby of the U18 National League. In addition, Randrup was a member of the U16/U17 Danish National Team (2009-11).
