Lady Eagle Hoops Gearing Up For Annual Pink Game

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's basketball team will forego its familiar school colors and don a different shade on Thursday, as the team participate in its Annual "Pink" breast cancer awareness game in Reed Green Coliseum. The first 300 fans will receive a pink t-shirt.

The Lady Eagles (17-7, 10-3 C-USA) and Old Dominion (14-9. 7-5) will face off at 6 p.m. This is the first meeting this season between the two teams.

There will be several activities taking place on game day, including a halftime presentation for all survivors and current patients and the pig race. An autographed poster by players and staff will be present to the local "Waiting For A Cure" organization.
