Bowl Socials Announced for Mississippi Gulf Coast, Jackson, Hattiesburg

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Department of Athletics announced Tuesday that the school will play host to three bowl socials this week, including the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Jackson and Hattiesburg, as the Golden Eagles get ready to take on Pac-12 member Washington in the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl.
MGM Park serves as the first bowl social spot on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., in the Mercedes Benz Club. The event is free and refreshments will be provided.
The following day, Thursday, Dec. 17, the Southern Miss bowl social moves to the Hilton Hotel on County Line Road and I-55 in Jackson from 6-7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes heavy hors d'ouvres and desserts with a cash bar.
The final bowl social takes place Saturday, Dec. 19, at Brewsky's in Hattiesburg, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Admission is free to this social.
Selected Golden Eagle football coaches, athletics staff and cheerleaders will be in attendance for all three events this week.
The Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl takes place Saturday, Dec. 26, at 1:20 p.m., (CT) from the historic Cotton Bowl.
