Promotions for Football Game this Saturday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss Department of Athletics has a number of thrilling promotions for kids in conjunction with its Halloween football game this Saturday, Oct. 31, against UTEP. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m., at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium.
Here is the look at this week's promotions as the game also marks this year's annual BLACKOUT contest:
• Seymour's Spectacular Halloween Carnival
* Will be held at Pride Field from 10 a.m. -- 12:30 p.m. and is free and open to fans of all ages.
* First 400 children will be able to decorate a pumpkin.
* Exciting carnival rides, games, candy and much more highlight this Halloween Carnival.
Costumes are encouraged as there will be a Costume Contest with the winners being recognized on the field during the football game.
• Trick or Treating
* All children in attendance at the game will have the opportunity to Trick or Treat in the North End Zone during halftime of the game.
* All of the Trick or Treaters will also be able to participate in the Halftime Spirit Line to greet the team as they return to the field.
• Sidekicks Day at The Rock
* All members of Seymour's Sidekicks have the opportunity to walk in Eagle Walk prior to the game.
* Please meet in front of The Hub at 11 a.m. in order to take part in this event.
* Sidekicks will also be able to gather by Gate 9 at Noon in order to walk around the field during pregame.
• Take a Kid to the Game for FREE!
* Free Admission for any child age 12 and under with the purchase of an Adult Single Game Ticket.

• BLACKOUT Game
* All fans are asked to wear Black as part of this annual event.
* Official BLACKOUT game t-shirts are currently on sale at Barnes & Noble and Campus Book Mart.
