Golden Eagles in the NFL, Week 3

Eight different Southern Miss players are currently on rosters in the National Football League. Here is a quick recap on how they did this past weekend:
Chris Clark, Denver - started at right tackle in a 26-20 overtime loss at Seattle. It was his third-straight start there to open the season. Clark, now in his fourth season with the Broncos, has played in 59 games, with 23 starts. (This week - Bye)
Jamie Collins, New England - collected three assisted tackles in a starting role for the Patriots at linebacker. New England defeated Oakland 16-9 in the contest. (This week - Monday at Kansas City, 7:30 pm/ESPN)
Austin Davis, St. Louis - enjoyed another fine day starting at QB for the Rams in which he threw for 327 yards on 30-of-42 passing with a pair of interceptions and three touchdowns, despite losing to Dallas 34-31. (This week - Bye)
Demar Dotson, Tampa Bay - started at right tackle for the third-straight game of the 2014 season for the Buccaneers, who fell at Atlanta, 56-14. (This week - at Pittsburgh, 12 Noon/FOX)
Lamar Holmes, Atlanta - started at right tackle for the Falcons for the third consecutive week as the Falcons dismantled Tampa Bay at home, 56-14. In his third season with the Falcons, he has played in 19 games and made 17 starts. (This week - at Minnesota, 3:25 pm/FOX)
Tom Johnson, Minnesota - started for the first time of the season last week, recording two tackles in a 20-9 loss at New Orleans. (This week - Atlanta, 3:25 pm/FOX)
Cordarro Law, San Diego - did not play last week as a member of the practice squad. Law was elevated to the active roster for this week's game, (This week - Jacksonville, 3:05 pm/CBS)
Khyri Thornton, Green Bay - currently is on the injured reserved list.
