Golden Eagles in the NFL, Week 1

Eight different Southern Miss players are currently on rosters in the National Football League. Here is a quick recap on how they did this past weekend:
Chris Clark, Denver - started at right tackle in a 31-24 home victory over Indianapolis. (This week - vs. Kansas City, 3:25 p.m.)
Jamie Collins, New England - started at linebacker for the Patriots and finished second on the team in tackles with eight, while tallying a pass deflection and a forced fumble despite losing to Miami at home 33-20 (This week - at Minnesota, 12 noon)
Austin Davis, St. Louis - came in relief at quarterback and threw for 192 yards on 16-of-23 passing in a 34-6 loss at home to Minnesota. It was Davis' first ever regular season NFL action. (This week - at Tampa Bay, 3:05 pm)
Demar Dotson, Tampa Bay - started at right tackle in a 20-14 home loss to Carolina (This week - St. Louis, 3:05 pm)
Lamar Holmes, Atlanta - started at right tackle as the Falcons defeated the New Orleans Saints 37-34 at home in overtime. (This week - at Cincinnati, 12 noon)
Tom Johnson, Minnesota - collected two tackles while also tallying a sack, a quarterback hurry and a forced fumble in the Vikings 34-6 road victory over St. Louis. (This week - New England, 12 noon)
Cordarro Law, San Diego - currently on the Chargers' practice squad and did not play in the contest.
Khyri Thornton, Green Bay - currently on the injured reserved list.
