Why Southern Miss?
"I chose Southern Miss because I loved the school when I got there for my first visit. I also liked the fact that it is not too far away from home. I wanted to attend a school that would allow me to pursue a degree that I wanted. Southern Miss has embraced my ambitions and that means a lot to me. I also got a chance to spend some time with the team and really bonded well with them. I feel that I have more room to grow as a player, and Southern Miss will give me that opportunity to be pushed to those levels both on the court and as a person. I am really excited to get a chance to play for a coach like Coach Amanda because I think that I can learn a lot from her and the coaches."
Also joining the Southern Miss 2014-15 class as a walk-on is Natalie Druhan of Mobile, Ala.
