Austin, Texas - The final game of the Texas Invitational at Red and Charline McCombs Field in Austin, Texas between the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of Louisiana at Monroe was canceled due to inclement weather.
Just before first pitch, heavy rain began to fall. The game was started and Southern Miss had the bases loaded with no outs when the game was called.
The Golden Eagles travel to El Paso, Texas for a three-game Conference USA series with UTEP. Live stats and in-game tweets (@USMSoftball) will be available for each game.
